About CIBER
Penn Lauder CIBER strives to become a national resource for the global aspects of business education. Its mission is to provide the structure and opportunity to bring together key elements of the Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania; to advance internationalized business education, training, and research; and to provide seed money for new initiatives and innovative programs in areas critical to the advancement of the U.S. position in the global economy.
Penn Lauder CIBER strives to achieve its mission through the following objectives:
- Provide advanced language and cultural training
- Integrate international dimensions in the classroom
- Develop and adopt innovative technologies in teaching
- Fund research in international business studies
- Host and sponsor events, including many in collaboration with other CIBER institutions as well as with other business and professional organizations
- Reach out to academic institutions and businesses -- locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally
